She met Father Lee in the middle. She hissed, revealing the length of her long unused fangs. Father Lee smiled wickedly in return.

“So, this is your weapon of defiance, then?” The amusement in his voice angered Orvella. Father Lee ran his hand across the bag. She tensed her muscles in preparation to fight. He slit the bag with a fingernail, spilling the liquid to the floor. “Now what will you do?”

She flew at him, pressing him against the wall, her fingers wrapping around his neck.

“The revolution begins with me!” she said, baring her fangs and leaning in.
