Today’s post is a dig at a friend of mine. Enjoy the pun in my phonetic fun.

Phonetic Lee

My PED-a-gogies oft cross lines

Between PEE-dan-tic

& ragged,

A mere word slave

Upon a lathe

Which chips away my

Fabric.

Semantics often rules my mind,

When po-LIT-icos talk

Religion,

I get hung up

& fall apart

In heated

Nu-CLEE-ar fission.

I bend plowshares back into

Swords

To fight my word filled dread.

Slowly I’ve come to REE-al-ize

It’s all been in my head.
