Hello World

I’ve been a bit lax in posting these past couple of months mostly because it is a big job being the managing editor of an online publication. A lot of things happen behind the scenes to keep it going, and I have a hand in all of it. It’s exciting and daunting at the same time.

I miss you, though. I don’t know if you followed me over there or not. I hope you did. I know that a lot of the content I’ve been sharing on my space at Eat Sleep Write has been repeats of stuff you may have read. The Wednesday Writer’s Wisdom has had new content, so I do hope you will add my new home to your daily read as you have here.

We have a contest going on over there. It’s pretty basic. Write, enter, win. There’s no entry fee this time, and the prizes are pretty good, if I say so myself. If you’d like to gain some exposure or have been looking for somewhere to submit, check out the guidelines and rules for the contest here.

On another note, we will be closing to submissions for the month of August. We are currently accepting all forms of writing from poetry to flash, chapters and short stories, from all genres. We are all about promotion and marketing, so hurry and send your stuff in! The general submission guidelines are easy, but please be mindful of them. Like any other publisher, it is important to follow their guidelines if you really want them to consider your work.

Master Class has fresh new prompts and we still offer a selection of daily prompts if you seek writing inspiration. Master Class goes live every Monday, with links and an excerpt from every story shared. Come check it out. I’d love to see you over there.

If you are wondering what I’m working on, or when my next book will come out, here’s my latest post about it. I don’t have a release date as it’s not finished or shopped out yet, but I have hopes that both will be accomplished in time for Halloween.

So, happy writing! See you around the blogosphere!
