The moon with its soft light aglow

A crescent rimmed with red

This is the beginning of the end.

The weekend challenge from Trifecta was: Three choices.  Inspired by all of the poetry entries we’ve had recently, we challenge you to write a poem of your own in either 33 words, 3 lines or 3 stanzas.

These are my 3 lines inspired by the gorgeous crescent moon last night. Please share your thoughts in a comment because feedback is wanted and appreciated here.

Thanks for stopping in!

Thats what I like, open ended endings. I’m glad it worked that way for you.

“Aglow” makes me think happy, gentle thoughts, so I like how it was the beginning of the end – took me for surprise.

I feel like this character looked down from sky to earth with firm resolve. Whatever ending is coming, this is a persona facing it squarely.

You always surprise me by where prompts lead you. This beautiful and strong- I had an instant image as I read it. Love it.

Thank you! Sometimes I surprise myself. My stories rarely end the way I expect them to.
